Course's) Offered : The College runs course leading to the following : B. A. M. S. ( Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery ) or Ayurvedacharya Degree. Ayurvedacharya (B.A.M.S-Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is the only recognized degree in Ayurveda all over India from June 1977. The degree have received recognition and approval of the Central Council of Indian Medicine ( CCIM ), New Delhi. The College is planning to start M.D. programs in the near future. Duration : The B.A.M.S.Degree course is of a duration of 5 & 1/2 years. 1.First Professional course 18 Months 2.Second Professional course 18 Months 3.Third Professional course 18 Months 4.Internship 12 Months Scope : B.A.M.S. degree holders are eligible for registration in the Central/State government Ayurvedic boards. Their status is at par with any other medical graduates in India. They are eligible for appointments in Central or State Govt.Ayurvedic Medical Services. Eligibility : PUC II / 10+2 / H.S.C.(Science) or any equivalent Examination. Student must have passed individually in Physics , Chemistry, Biology and English & with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together (40% for SC/ST students). Intake : 50 Affiliation : Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, (BFUHS), Punjab ,India D. Pharmacy (Diploma In Pharmacy) or Upvaida The course is intended to train personnel mainly for meeting requirements of consumer sector of Ayurvedic drugs and other traditional systems of medicines. They will be acquainted with the manufacturing of Ayurvedic drugs and will be qualified and competent persons to dispense Ayurvedic drugs in hospitals, dispensaries, and other related activities. They will also be trained to maintain the stores of Ayurvedic drugs (both raw materials and finished products) properly This Diploma is Affiliated with Punjab State Ayurvedic Faculty and Recognized by Govt. of Punjab and Valid in all India For opening of Chemist Shops, Pharmacy and Herbal Clinics in India as well as abroad.
