Bhago Ayurvedic Medical College Muktsar is the first institution of its kind to
be established in Punjab State which is exclusively for girls , The
institution was established in the year when whole world was celebrating the
year for women. Its inauguration was done by the then Chief minister of Punjab
Harcharan Singh Brar.
The Ayurvedic Medical institute is dedicated to the achievement of excellence in both Ayurvedic Education and Research.The College offers 4 1/2 years and 1 year internship. Degree Course of B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
The college is affiliated to Baba Farid University Of Health Sciences, Faridkot and is recognized by the Government of Punjab and has been recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine(CCIM)),New Delhi, AYUSH Delhi.
The aim of the College is to produce graduates of profound scholarship having in depth scientific knowledge of ayurveda in accordance with the ayurvedic fundamentals associated with extensive practical training, who would be efficient teachers,research workers,Kaya Chikitaka(Physician) and Shalya Chikitaka(Surgeon) with the sole object of reviving and developing the Indian System of Medicine.
